She’s really deserving of that crown, isn’t she?

Almost Anathema

I’ve been following internet personality Chris Thompson on his blog as well as his various social media channels for some time now – both YouTube channels, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat. No, he’s not exactly a famous celebrity, but he has built up a fairly good internet presence and a solid following as a YouTube star who can also sing.
Admittedly, I was initially enticed to follow him because I encountered one of his vlogs and I found him very attractive. The more I watched his many videos, however, the more I saw he was more than just a pretty face; he was a man with a lot of very good things to say.

The new Ghostbusters movie has been the subject of much misogynistic controversy since the all-female cast was announced last year. I had wanted to write about the issue more in-depth, particularly around how these entitled privileged white males are pretending it’s simply about the legacy of the original when it’s really about how insecure they are with their penis size.
Dive In The Pool

Thank you, Gay Times, for this wonderful feature on LGBT athletes heading over to Rio for the 2016 Olympics. This year, we apparently have a record number of LGBT participants in the event.
Or perhaps, this might just be a year where we have a record number of out and proud participants, for I cannot imagine all prior events have had no (secretly) LGBTs amongst the athletes.
And so this year still marks a pretty good milestone for our community – for now we are diving headfirst into the pool outly and proudly without qualms.

May we never be reminded of those hairstyles and moustaches ever again. Unless you are Burt Reynolds, David Bowie, or MacGyver.
Yup, that’s all I noticed in this video.
Pride Minister

As though we needed yet another reason to fall madly in love with him, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made history by being the first leader of their country to join their Pride Parade.
Justin, who is a staunch LGBT supporter and who has won our hearts not just by smiling but also by being open, progressive, and able to summarize quantum computing at the snap of a finger, makes it even better by reiterating that a leader joining the Pride Parade is just how it should be and shouldn’t be a big deal.
Chris Mears: Witness the wetness.

When Olympic diver Tom Daley did this, he did it fully-clothed.
His teammate Chris Mears takes it up a notch.
You’re welcome.
