Pitchforks for Justice

by on Oct.19, 2017, under Film & TV, Geeky

As Justice League‘s opening date draws nearer, and with the recent full trailer released, more and more TV spots and promotional material are coming out. It’s absolutely nerdgasmic, and with the film less than a month away, I could only eat up as much as I could to satisfy my unabashed eagerness. Times like these make me wonder why patience is a virtue.

Bring it on, DC.

Justice is served.

by on Oct.09, 2017, under Film & TV, Geeky

Let’s take a break today from all the Persian goodness to look at the latest Justice League trailer drop. And of course, it is iconic. We also finally get to see some Cavill, but no Superman (just watch, it’s not spoiler-y what I said).

With the film out next month, the PR for this much-awaited live action coming together of DC legends (plus Cyborg, heh) will surely be cranking up a notch in the next few weeks. We’re in for a treat. I’m giddy with excitement.

Ringo Flash

by on Dec.22, 2016, under Film & TV, Geeky

Or at least, that’s basically how Ezra Miller describes his Flash for next year’s Justice League in this week’s Entertainment Weekly. And they released a new movie image, to boot.

Rumor has it a new trailer will drop before the year ends. Fingers crossed!

Armie Hammer for Green Lantern?

Since my choice for Hal Jordan (Chris Pine) is now Steve Trevor, and since I wanted Armie to be Batman but that’s also not happening, please make this come true instead.

Then throw in Kevin Zegers as Kyle Rayner and Boris Kodjoe as John Stewart, and I’ll be happy.

I might even start finding Hal Jordan remotely interesting.

I Can’t Stop Watching.

by on Jul.25, 2016, under Film & TV, Geeky

So this past weekend, during the San Diego Comic-Con, DC dropped several trailers for its TV and movie franchises, along with lots of surprises for its comics and video game businesses. Thousands of fans wet themselves with joy at all the goodies that DC has given us.

Well, news about the CW’s long-runing, highly successful shared TVverse of ArrowFlashLegends of Tomorrow, and (now) Supergirl is always great, especially since they dropped trailers for the upcoming seasons of the first three. More previews of Injustice 2 were also shown (including the first look at the somewhat mannish IJ2 Wonder Woman as well as Blue Beetle 3).

However, the awesome DC movie trailers from Warner Bros. eclipsed all of that.
