Talk about amazing. These fantastic ladies may as well have have been deboned, seeing as how utterly flexible their bodies are. Just when you think they can’t go into another impossible position, they just… do. And even more. It’s like watching living marionettes take the stage, if living marionettes decided they had no joints.

Now, David Walliams does have a bit of a point. There’s just something rather unsettling about the way these women contort and twist their limbs that you can’t help but shudder. I kind of started imagining what would happen if I ever tried this, but then I remember my health insurance has a maximum benefit limit for hospitalization, so maybe not.

Angara Contortion were apparently axed later on along with other acts that were uncovered to have been pros in their field as opposed to amateurs. The ladies, it seems, lied about their background and have also been performing with Cirque du Soleil.

They’re definitely still stunning performers, but I guess they twisted the truth and put themselves in an awkward position.

Badum-bum tssss.
